IDD Therapy

Tired of Living with Back Pain?

If you are a pre or post-surgical back patient, or suffer from lower back pain, IDD may be the right treatment to help alleviate your symptoms and pain.

IDD Therapy

What is IDD Therapy?
AOC now offers Internal Disc Decompression (IDD) Therapy. This new, innovative therapy is extremely effective in the treatment of low back pain. IDD treatment is comfortable, safe, non-surgical, and non-invasive. AOC is the only location in northern Michigan to offer IDD Therapy.

IDD therapy has been extremely successful in treating the following conditions:
  • Herniated, ruptured or bulging discs
  • Degenerative disc disease
  • Sciatica and other back conditions
IDD Therapy uses a patented decompression device known as the Accu-Spina™ system. Accu-Spina™ is able to target therapy to the specific segment of the lumbar spine that is causing the pain. Dr. Mawby is a certified provider of Internal Disc Decompression Therapy.

"My life was over! I only went to work as a teacher and no other activities. IDD treatment was a great experience for me, I'm pain free! Your office and staff got me back on my feet and took months off my recovery time, if recovery would have even been possible without IDD treatment."
Jeff ~ Northport, MI
